Samantha en dochter Blake nodigen Chloe, een buitenlandse uitwisselingsstudent uit Groot-Brittannië, uit in hun huis in Californië. De twee meisjes worden goede vrienden, maar Samantha's ongemak begint met de verdachte dood van Blake's vriend.
